Southern Ground Atlanta Recording Studios

Southern Ground Studios Atlanta was founded in 2010 by three-time GRAMMY Award-winning artist Zac Brown. This built-from-scratch facility (built by the same contractors responsible for Jack White’s Third Man Records and much of Blackbird Studios in Nashville) is a quiet, suburban, amenity-rich space. The studio features a live room, a large isolation booth and a custom-built echo chamber containing eighteen guitars. Clients are offered amenities including a saltwater pool with a jacuzzi, beer on tap, four ways of making coffee, a professional espresso machine, high-speed wifi, a posh lounge with a smart tv, bose sound reinforcement and a vintage coke machine.

Manned by a talented and knowledgeable staff and stocked with one of the more diverse and comprehensive collections of gear in any Atlanta studio, Southern Ground Studios Atlanta is a one-of-a-kind destination equipped to handle recording, mixing and production needs of the highest level. Notable projects include work on GRAMMY-winning albums such as Zac Brown Band’s “Uncaged” and recent collaborations with The Doobie Brothers (“Black Water” cover),  Elton John (“Goodbye Yellow Brick Road Tribute Album“) and The String Cheese Incident (“Song In My Head.”)
